Urban and Steel Seminar

Have you ever felt intimidated or scared in a potential street situation?

You're in a car park. You're approached by a man. The one light in the car park makes something reflect in his hand. It's a knife. Do you really know how to defend yourself against a blade?

The knife is being used freely in today's violent society. Many martial arts systems teach defence against this remarkable weapon without an understanding of how unpredictable and dangerous a blade can be.

You will feel fear in an armed or unarmed confrontation and you will need to understand and control this emotion to use it to your advantage or it will defeat you. Martial arts often neglects the physiological side of a street encounter concentrating on only the physical in training. You will need to know how to control emotion and use it to your advantage.
