Bowing
Bowing is a way of showing respect, this is why we bo on entering and leaving the hall. The bow we do at the start and end of class is to show respect to each other for what we can give each other and learn from training with one another. It is like a handshake or a way of saying thankyou.
Discipline
Discipline in our karate is very important as it teaches us Self Control, Self Discipline, Respect and Courtesy for others not only in the hall but in everyday activities whether it be at school or work. It is common courtesy to the Instructor and to fellow students to participate in activities in the spirit of friendship and humility.
